Emile Millar, local music producer and author of the award-winning children’s book Eagle vs Bear: Adventures of a Child Cub, has created Riviera Music—a music shop, learning facility, and studio offering new and vintage instruments. Riviera Music’s mission is to inspire people of all ages to learn, perform, and create music.

At Riviera Music, we believe every musician deserves the right tools to create, play, and enjoy music—whether you’re a professional, a hobbyist, or just starting out.
All of our retail musical items are thoughtfully selected and carefully curated to meet the needs of musicians at every level. We take pride in offering a diverse range of instruments, accessories, and gear that reflect both quality and reliability.
Instruments and Repairs
At the helm of our professional repair facility is John Mooy. John is an expert luthier and guitar technician. Setups are $95+strings (includes intonation, neck and saddle adjustment, electronics, fret polish and conditioning, and minor repairs). String replacement is $50+strings (includes fret conditioning and polish). Other repairs include re-frets, pickup replacement, cracks and repairs, and neck resets. We offer new guitars from Taylor and new ukuleles from Lanikai. We also offer used and vintage guitars including Martin, Gibson, Fender, Yamaha, Guild, and more. All guitars are professionally setup by skilled luthiers. All used and vintage guitars are pre-owned certified.
We carry new and vintage amps including Orange, Fender, Supro, Roland, Yamaha, and more. We also offer an extensive selection of guitar pedals, cables, and accessories.

GROUP KEYBOARD LESSONS
The program is $300 per student and includes all learning materials. Please note: age groups and times can and will be modified to accommodate schedule needs. Please contact the shop for more information. Spring schedule below:
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private Lessons offer a personalized, one-on-one learning experience for all ages. Our skilled and reliable teachers provide lessons in guitar, bass, piano, and ukulele. Sessions cost $50 for 30 minutes or $75 for 45 minutes. Contact us to schedule today!
STUDIO AND PRODUCTION
Our learning studio is available to musicians and artists interested in recording and learning about music production. All lessons are protools based and students receive an expert firsthand learning experience. Please contact the shop for more information.

Songwriting & Production Lessons
Work directly with music producers and studio engineers. Learn how to produce and record your songs and receive hands on instruction in our learning studio.
No experience necessary. All levels welcome.

Jesse Rhodes
Former Warner Bros. recording artist whose music has appeared on radio, television, and film. Jesse brings years of professional recording and production experience to the studio.
Zach Madden
Producer, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. His credits include Toad The Wet Sprocket, Dawn Patrol, The Coral Sea, and many others.
Songwriting and Production Workshops
Our songwriting and production workshops are a fun way to collaborate and share songs with a community of performers and artists. The program features professional songwriters, producers, vocal coaches, and performers dedicated to share and inspire people of all ages to learn, perform, and create music.
